Oscar Nominations 2022: Full List of Nominees

The nominations for the 94th Academy Awards are in, having just been announced this morning, and just like every other year we have our fair share of surprises, snubs and well-deserving films/performances.

Read on for more reaction and for a full list of this year's Oscar Nominees!

The Oscar Nominations were just announced moments ago, and here are some initial thoughts:

• KRISTEN STEWART!!!!!!!!!!! Her rabid online fanbase had become shaken in recent weeks as her name was not showing up in other pre-curser awards. But she ultimately landed her first Academy Award nomination for her mesmerizing performance as Princess Diana in "Spencer," after being the initial front-runner in the Best Actress category. See? It all worked out...now breathe...
• "The Power of the Dog" leads the way with 12 total nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, two Best Supporting Actors and Best Supporting Actress. It's the first-ever nomination for Jesse Plemons, Kirsten Dunst and Kodi Smit-McPhee, and the second career nom for Benedict Cumberbatch.
• "Dune" lands 10 total nominations, but somehow snubs Denis Villeneuve for Best Director. Showing up in every single technical category, "Dune" had tons of noms this year, even coming in at Best Picture. How could all of those elements have been award-worthy without the man in the middle of it all being recognized?
• "West Side Story" comes through. Many thought it wouldn't land a Best Picture nomination, but it not only showed up in that category, but it netted director Steven Spielberg his eighth Oscar nomination for directing and his first since 2012's "Lincoln." Ariana DeBose was nominated for Supporting Actress and overall the movie earned five total nominations.
• Jared Leto left off the list for "House of Gucci" as the film overall underperformed. Not only was Leto left out, but Lady Gaga was not nominated either. In fact, the divisive "House of Gucci" only landed one overall nomination, for Best Makeup & Hairstyling.
• "Drive My Car" becomes the 11th international movie ever to land a Best Picture nomination, as well as for Best International Feature. "Parasite" was the only foreign film ever to win Best Picture.
• Get used to saying "The Oscar-nominated Coming 2 America and Free Guy." Yes both films have now earned more Oscar nominations than "Mass" (the movie that was by far the best movie of the year), for Makeup & Hairstyling and for Visual Effects, respectively.
