Reviews: Motley Crue biopic 'The Dirt' comes to Netflix, 'Us' and 'The Russian Five' invade theaters, March 22
The box office favorite this week looks to be the new horror film from Jordan Peele, who surprised almost everybody with his break-out crowd-pleaser, "Get Out," back in 2017. His latest effort is "Us," and it is poised to be the first film to knock "Captain Marvel" out of the top spot.

Movie reviews: 'Five Feet Apart,' 'Giant Little Ones' and 'Climax' open, March 15
"Captain Marvel" is still going to dominate the box office this coming weekend, but that doesn't mean that there won't be more options and films to see. For most of this week's new releases, you might need to go to the independent theaters to find them, as many of them are seeing limited release, but for a "giant little one" in particular, it might be worth the trek.

Reviews: 'Captain Marvel,' 'Triple Frontier,' 'The Kid' and 'Apollo 11' land in theaters, March 8
It's been a record-setting year thus far at the box office, but not in a good way. January is always a slow month, but this year it was 15% behind that of 2018, and February fared no better. It looks like "Captain Marvel" has been sent to save more than just the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
But there is some interesting counter-programming to the big superhero movie seeing release. Here are reviews for films opening this weekend, Friday, March 8, 2019:
