MESSAGE FROM EMAGINE THEATERS
March 12, 2020
Dear Emagine Guests,
At Emagine, we think of you, our guests, as precious and beloved family members. Like you, during these last few weeks we’ve been focused on doing everything possible to keep our families safe and healthy.
Emagine is committed to maintaining a safe and clean environment for its guests and team members. We closely monitor information from the CDC, and we have been adhering to its guidance in minimizing the transmission of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our industry.
Frequent hand washing and rigorous sanitation procedures are fundamental daily practices at Emagine. We are always respectful of our team members’ health, and this is particularly important now more than ever. If a teammate is not feeling 100% or has any symptoms of illness, we insist that they call off from work. We are working on supporting these teammates to the best of our abilities during this time.
In addition to our normally strict sanitization protocols, we have implemented the following enhancements to further ensure guest and team member safety:
• Employed internal measures to limit the number of guests per auditorium for public showings to 50% of the theater’s capacity or a maximum of 100 guests. Moreover, we are in the process of instituting social distancing protocols recommended by the World Health Organization;
• Increased cleaning rotations in high volume areas including lobbies, concession areas, box office, Freestyle areas, auditoriums and restrooms;
• Increased the deployment of antibacterial hand sanitizer stations;
• Increased sanitation of door handles, seats, cup holders, bathroom latches, bathroom faucets and other surfaces using EPA approved disinfectants; and
• Instructed teammates on ServSafe food handling training protocols specific to COVID-19.
If you need to adjust ticket reservations made via the Emagine website, app, or 3rd party apps such as Fandango or ATOM tickets, please contact your local theatre or 3rd party from whom you purchased your tickets, respectively. If we can provide further assistance, please contact our guest service department.
We are committed to following the recommendations of public health agencies, and we will further adjust our operating protocols as appropriate as conditions change. We will continue to operate in a manner that balances the safety of our guests and team members with our commitment to serve our local communities.
Thank you for your patronage.
Sincerely,
Paul A. Glantz
